Fire Prevention & Risk Assessment
OJ Health and Safety provides businesses with a wide range of services to help deal with Fire Prevention, including a Fire Risk Assessment.
On October 1st 2006, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) came into force. This is a major change in legislation putting the legal requirement to create Fire Risk Assessments upon ‘The Responsible Person’ within a business and scrapping the old fire certificates which historically had been completed by the local Fire Service.
The new fire regulations were introduced to simplify matters, to take the pressure and responsibility away from the Fire Service and make it more straight forward for Employers to understand what was required from them.
