What is Fire Safety?
Fire safety is the procedures and practices aimed at reducing the damage, destruction and potential loss of life resulting from fires. Key strategies include preventing the start of uncontrolled fires and implementing measures to limit the spread and impact of a fire once it has started.
At OJ Safety, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your protection is our priority.

Where do we come in?
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) applies to all commercial properties, including shared areas in blocks of flats and Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).
You must comply with this law if you are:
- Responsible for business premises
- An employer or self-employed individual with business premises
- In charge of any part of a dwelling used solely for business
- A charity or voluntary organisation
- A contractor managing any premises
- Providing accommodation for paying guests
Fires can be incredibly damaging and disruptive to any business. A severe fire often results in lost productivity, leading to decreased orders, customer losses, and ultimately, job reductions.
