At OJ Safety, we are on hand to assist you with Construction Design & Management Regulations Services. One of the key roles within CDM consultancy Regulations is The Principal Designer who is responsible for the following:
- Plan, manage, and monitor the pre-construction phase and coordinate matters relating to health and safety. This means that as far as reasonably practical the project is carried out without risks to health and safety.
- Apply the general principles of prevention as set out in the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 as well as the content of any construction phase health and safety plan and health and safety file, if necessary.
- Prepare the pre-construction health and safety plan for the project.
- Notify the project when required.
- Prepare the health and safety file, and review, update, and make revisions as the project progresses.
